Day 9 of love

Once again, I credit today’s quote to Ms. George. At this rate, it seems as though I don’t have other sources for this curious topic but TLPB just provides a lot of relevant content that I cannot not share them. Anyway, this quote brings to mind a line from the 1995 film Before Sunrise, “Isn’t everything we do in life a way to be loved a little more?

Day 8 of love

This reminded me of another saying by theologian and philosopher, Saint Augustine. It goes something like this: “To love is to partake in another’s personhood.

So many ways of saying the same thing. It only shows that although we are different, deep down we are essentially the same.

Day 7 of love

True to my word, today’s quote on love is once again from The Little Paris Bookshop.

This doesn’t end here. I filled a lot of pages of my journal with nothing but beautiful passages from TLPB, so expect a couple more from the same source.

Day 6 of love

We all have ideals. But when Cupid shoots his arrow – it’s not that ideals fall apart – you just suddenly have ideals you never knew you had. Oh the wonders of love!

Day 5 of love

Happiness and sadness go hand in hand, so a person who dares to love dares to risk it all.

Kafka on the Shore is the only Murakami book that I have ever read. Truth be told, I never got to appreciate its story although I do acknowledge Murakami’s brilliance.
